Trained as a designer, I have a varied and far ranging portfolio gained through 15 years experience, working for clients such as Electronic Arts, Sega, Sony, Disney and Buena Vista.
My father was a photographer who at one time in his career worked for Tony Armstrong Jones (Lord Snowden) and the BBC. I would often help my father develop and print his photographs and have fond memories of curled prints drying on the clothline and the very distinctive smell of processing chemicals in the air. About 5 years ago I decided to develop this lifelong love of photography further and began to include it in my work, undertaking a variety of commissions for clients, including portraits, event and product photography.
Over the last few years I've had work in several exhibitions, including one in Karachi, Pakistan. I've also been Head Judge in a photographic competition run by my local free paper, as well as their resident photographer for a year.
I decided to validate my photography experience, by undertaking an HNC in Photography and In July 2010 I gained a Distinction, which is a rare feat as a distinction was required in each unit to gain the Overall Distinction. In February 2011 I applied for membership of the Royal Photographic Society and was awarded my LRPS (Licentiateship of the Royal Photography society) in the same month.
My versatile approach enables me to tackle almost any project, be it a portrait session, location shoot, large financial or government publication to stunning film industry materials and computer games packaging and manuals, zonal branding for cruise ships and promotional gift branding.
