Just Jane (NX611)
"<" back one image Just Jane (NX611)
Set up by Fred and Harold Panton over 20 years ago, in memory of their brother who was killed in 1944, the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is widely seen as a living memorial to the 55,573 men of Bomber Command who lost their lives during WW2. It is home to one of the rarest aircraft, an Avro Lancaster 4 engined Bomber, otherwise fondly known as Just Jane (NX611). The centre is working on a long term programme with the aim of making Just Jane airworthy. Currently she is able to offer taxy rides and internal tours.
